This bohemian chic wedding at Schenströmska Herrgården in Ramnäs, Sweden was a thrill to work on, not only did these love birds have great taste, they where also so kind and fun to be around during the whole process. My dear colleague Louise from Right Style did all the planning for this wedding and I had the pleasure to create the design and floral, and it was so much fun!
A bride with impeccable taste
K wore a custom wedding gown from one of my favourite designers, Claire Pettibone. It was such a beautiful piece and suited her style perfectly with its bohemian butterfly sleeves, exclusive lace and edgy skirt showing of her gorgeous wedding shoes. Her bridesmaids where all dressed in silver silk dresses paired with shoes and hairstyles in their personal style.
Wedding floral with attitude
K and R wanted their wedding floral to be edgy. We decided to combine soft romantic roses in shades of dusty pink with darker and more textured blossoms in tones like burgundy and slate blue to create an interesting mixture. This turned out beautifully together with R´s blue suit and the bohemian oriental rugs at the ceremony. We also built a custom triangle shaped wedding arch that matched perfectly with the wooden benches that the venue provided for the outdoor ceremony.
Wedding photographer with an unique style
Helsinki based wedding photographer Johanna Rosenlew captured this wedding so beautifully with her unique style of photographing and story telling. I could tell by watching her working during the day that she loves documenting her couples day as it unfolds. She was always in the right place at the right time to get those special in the moment captures that she is so well known for.
Wedding reception in a rustic barn
This reception venue took my breath away when I entered it. Its high ceiling, dark wooden floors and industrial style was so unique and cool. We decided to embrace the rustic feeling of the space and chose candle holders with patina and mixed this with classic elements like white linens, tall candles and napkins in soft dusty pink. Together with the custom designed menus and the floral arrangements it all turned out gorgeous.
