Now this my friends is a real winter wonderland wedding that took place at Vidbynäs Gård. In the days before Rebecca and Erik´s big day the perfect amount of snow came and made everything a sparkling white. The bride and groom hade done quite some research to pick the weekend with the greatest chance for snow and they did a great job with that as you can see.
Wedding venue with great food and wine
At Vidbynäs Gård you get pampered with great service and you can expect the food and wine to be top notch too. The staff gladly create a custom menu for your wedding dinner, and their in house coordinator and somalier Sara will give you wonderful suggestions on drinks and wine to make everything even more special. The venue also offers accommodation for your guests in their cute cottages located a few steps from the main building. This combined with the beautiful interior and surroundings make it into a sought after location for weddings.
A staircase covered in floral arrangements
This couple wanted their guests to be welcomed by a scene covered in flowers so we created a gorgeous floral installation for the hallway staircase. The flowers were accompanied with clear glass cylinders with high pillar candles to give warmth and light to the arrangement. The guests were amazed by this as they arrived.
On the way to the dining area everyone stopped to admire this custom table seating chart that Elin’s Art Studio designed, and to find their seats of course.
Wedding table scape with gold details
The tables was set with details to enhance the winter themed feel. The plates looking like large snowflakes and the glass candle holders and transparent chairs created an illusion of ice. The floral arrangements was kept in white and greyish green tones and together with the stationery with its cold shades of blue it all looked just divine.
Church ceremony with sparkler exit
Rebecca and Erik said ‘I do’ in the nearby Turinge church together with their closest friends and family. As the pair came out from the church the loving crowd welcomed them by waving sparklers high above their heads.
My team and I are so grateful that we got to be a part of this frost fairytale. Are you planning for a winter wedding in Sweden or abroad? Send us a message here, we would love to hear all about it and guess what? The first meeting is free of charge!
Kindly
Linnéa
