This archipelago wedding in Stockholm was a dream to plan and design for me. Elena and Per were such a joy to work with and trusted my team to create their vision for their wedding day. Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden was chosen as their venue, its location by the water was perfect for an outdoor ceremony and there was enough room to accommodate all the wedding guests. We decided to have the ceremony in the hotel’s garden, facing the water followed by a cocktail hour in the sunshine with the hotels impressive facade as a backdrop. It was a success!
All white wedding theme with modern details
Elena and Per went for a classic all white wedding theme with modern details created from plexiglas and vellum paper.
Table setting inspired by golden stucco
We created a clean and classic base for the table setting with white chairs and linens and composed floral arrangements filled with garden roses and sweet pea. The walls in the dinner hall of the Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden are decorated with golden stucco which gave inspiration for the pattern on the menus and other details such as the custom made ceremony rug and the wedding invitations that Elins Art Studio designed for this wonderful day.
Wedding party with a live band
The delicious three course dinner, served to perfection by the lovely staff of Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden was followed by cake cutting and the couples first dance. All the guests gathered around Elena and Per to watch and enjoy this moment. Beautiful music was played by the live band and it was just such a joyous event to experience for everyone that was there. Anna, Philip and the other members of The Cat Combo band are so talented and sure know how to entertain and create a party.
As you can tell this wedding was wonderful and I am so happy that my team and I got to be a part of it!
