Katharine and Marcus gathered their family and friends for an extravagant welcome party in the magnificent venue Eric Ericsonhallen on Skeppsholmen in Stockholm. This grand building was a perfect canvas to create something unique and a round bar became the statement piece of this event. The impressive display of hanging delphinium wowed the guests as they entered, champagne in hand. The atmosphere was further enhanced by the tones of strings playing pop songs, as taken out of a scene from Bridgerton.
This evening was all about mingling, getting to know each other, while sipping on cocktails and tasting delicious Swedish delicacies, in a beautiful setting. A distinctive touch was added with a specially designed pattern for the couple, featured on elements like signs and
napkins. It incorporated their monogram, beloved dog Malcolm, favorite flowers, and symbolic graphics representing moments from their life, forming a unique toile de jouy. This together with the modern sculptural floral installations and arrangements framed and elevated the scenery.
To add to the experience, Cocktailgruppens' top mixologists crafted a special cocktail menu for this occasion, they served their flavorful drinks with fresh floral as decoration. A three course menu collection of hors d'oeuvres, a mix of typical Swedish dishes, and the couple's personal favorites was served during the evening. Starting with the light starter dishes and ending with a dessert and Swedish candy buffet. Photographed by 2 Brides Photography.
