Katharine and Marcus started their four day wedding celebration in Sweden, aiming to give their international guests a fantastic experience of Stockholm. They decided to treat their closest family and friends to a cruise in Stockholm's archipelago, and the beautiful white ship Teaterskeppet turned out to be the perfect spot for the event.
Drawing inspiration from the words neutral, Italian, and elegance, I created a color palette with classic Scandinavian hues. Beige, grey, white, and greens. Given the couple's love for Italian food, it naturally became a central element of the whole concept. For the rehearsal dinner table setting, we added a personal touch using custom made
mini olive oil bottles as placecards and each menu was adorned with olivebranches to enhance that Italian feel. The floral arrangements were made in handcrafted ceramic urns filled with stunning white blooms and olive greenery. Light grayish beige tablecloths and sage green linen napkins complemented everything beautifully.
The festivities kicked off with sparkling wine and Italian inspired appetizers on the sunlit deck, complemented by the jazzy tunes of Stockholm Monroes. Guests then savored a delicious four course dinner in the spacious dining hall, with expansive windows providing a breathtaking view of the ocean.
